When 80’s “Cop flick” heroes train in our mythical ninja dojo, waves of culture and badass-ness ensue.

You may not be able to grow the “stache”, or maybe you were not created with the cleft chin of a male-model, but September 1st, you can buy it all at your favorite retail shops.

Spectacular shred shots from this past winter

Filed under: Uncategorized — Ryan @ 5:07 pm
Mikey Wier is an underground legend and a good friend of ours.  Not only is he a self-photographer specialist, but also a fishing guide and BAMF.  The other day he sent me a few of his favorite photos a friend took this last season.  Here is what he had to say:
Hey Friends,

I know it’s the middle of summer.  I just got these killer images from the wonderfully awesome Carrie Reiter though and i just had to share.  Carrie followed us out onto some burly adventures into the back-country this past winter and captured some amazing images of us getting rad.  Here’s a few of my fav’s.  i really like the one she got with the clouds in the back ground off the super duper big brother kicker at Kirkwood.  That run in is gnarly.  Thank Lib for Magna Traction. You can see more of Carrie’s work at http://www.carriereiterphotography.com.  Let me know if anyone needs any images for anything.

Also just got the trailer for First Tracks new Video “Droppin”.  I’ve got a couple slash shots in there at 2:33.  Enjoy and hope this gets you hyped up for another good winter.  In the mean time, enjoy your summer.

Cheers,
Mikey Wier

Spacecraft partnered with TSB to host a screen printing clinic at Woodland Skatepark in Seattle

Filed under: Art, Community, Events — Ryan @ 1:22 pm

TSB is a youth organization that empowers inner city youth and involving local businesses. The Service Board gets involved with their community by working with local businesses as well as mentors to show that through determination and perseverance, what you dream can turn into reality. Whether it’s becoming a chef, a printer, an arborist or a community leader, people donate their time and experience to make a positive impact.

Spacecraft set up one of its portable printing units and created some sticker designs.

“It was really cool to see the amount of people that showed a serious interest in the process and were standing in line for their chance to pull the squeegee” Ryan Davis, Spacecraft Marketing Director.

Below are some of the days images ::

Dash Point Skimboard Comp 09

Filed under: Uncategorized — Ryan @ 12:04 pm

The results are in.  After hours reviewing footage and photography from the Dash Point Pro/Am Flatland Skimboarding Competition, we have reached our final diagnosis.  Skimboarding is SICK.  This first became apparent when competitors started popping their tricks unnaturally high, then began throwing down mad tech all over the massive slider feature built by DB Skimboards.  After we learned that skimboarders from Washington, Canada, California, and Utah made the trip to skimboard in the event, there has even been talk of a pandemic.  At this point, rollerblading and neon elbow pads may be the only cure…

Sea Sk8: Making it Happen

Filed under: Uncategorized — Ryan @ 11:39 am
To help get involved with the newest Seattle Skate Park, Spacecraft and the underground kid “Duffy”,  worked on a poster design to be hand printed.
Our good friend (Jamie) at Perch Graphics lent his space for the crew to put it all together.

Duffy took iconic images from around the city of Seattle, sans the Space Needle.

There is a lot of work that goes into a build like Sea Skate. It’s located at Seattle Center in prime real estate. Many hoops were jumped and in the end, a unique park was made that allows for multiple skaters at a time and is much different than the few others in Seattle. So, Seattle is getting to have a diverse set of parks and if you are willing to travel to the burbs… you can find something to suit your style.

Below are a few images of the print process. Enjoy:
