We just got this straight from Christina. She is a talented artist and amazing person, so if you know what’s cool, you’d be wise to check this out. Here are her words:
Hello!
Thanks for supporting my art all these years, I’m so lucky to have so much support and encouragement. This Saturday June 13th, I’m having an art opening at the Conor Byrne Pub near my house in Downtown Ballard. The second-Saturday of every month is the Ballard Artwalk, so it’s a good time to walk around, see some art, drink some beers, be laid back and have a good time. I’ll have 3 new pieces and a selection of work for this show called “Nothing In Common Bonds” a show that will feature themes involving our sometimes surprisingly unlikely yet profound relationships we have with one another.
This show is dedicated to my dear friend Larry Sommers who passed away suddenly in April from heart failure. 50% of any sales will go to the Seattle Print Art’s Larry Sommers Art Fellowship. Larry continually guided me as an artist with tech support, creative criticism, mini-van hauling, and pretty much kept me from loosing my marbles on many occasions.
Hope to see you next Saturday!
Christina
