Stack Footy @ The King Kat

Filed under: Bunny — admin @ 5:09 pm

The night came, it went and it went OFF!!! The King Kat Theater was packed full of avid fans anxious to see Jesse Burter’s latest creation, Stack Footy. Every seat was filled and I ended up standing, well, actually leaning against the wall. Think Thank once again delivers a film that pushes the limits of what’s possible both in editing and on a snowboard. It’s a testament that with enough creativity, you can make a great film. It’s not always those with the biggest budget.

Spacecraft represented with stickers, a slideshow projected near the entrance and the bunny rocking the stage and distributing SWAG. The theater was a “who’s who” of the NW snowboard industry, but more importantly, the kids who live the sport came out in numbers.

For us older kids, the bar had stiff drinks and high prices. But at a fun event like this, one tends to forget the bank balance.

Congrats to Mr. Burtner and the Think Thank crew for an amazing premiere. Looking forward to what they think up next.
