Yours truly got a call from Pat Milbery on Monday night letting me know he was in town to hook up with Jesse Burtner and the cast of Think Thank to film the opening part of their new film “Cool Story.” Tuesday morning, I skinned the Spacecraft rabbit, loaded up my snowskate, packed my wife’s camera and made the pilgrimage to the badlands of the dismantled Hyak resort, (just one of the gems at The Summit at Snoqualmie). With a sled ride from the Evo house, I was dropped off at the secret playground to a greeting of laughter and shakas. The likes of Gus Engle, Pat Milbery, Ben Bogart, Matt Edgers, Blair Habenicht, Jonny Miller, Andre Spinelli and of course Jesse Burtner were all hanging out and polishing their tricks.
